Amanda Trombley , President
Amanda manages our
day-to-day operations as well as product development and marketing and
sales programs. Amanda's career began at worldwide consulting group,
Bain & Company where she completed the mini MBA-style BFEP (Bain

responsible for all marketing and product materials in the Boston office
and many of Hay's domestic and international offices. The Creative
Services department was unique within the Hay organization and was
operated as a stand-alone entity, giving Amanda the opportunity to
manage and grow a "small business" within a large corporation.

offices in Boston, London, and Milan.
A graduate of Simmons College of Boston (Dean's List) and Endicott
College of Beverly, MA (Dean's List, Summa Cum Laude), Amanda was a
member of the academic honor society Phi Beta Kappa and won departmental

development certification from Emerson College.
An annual presenter at the Girls Get Connected Conference, Amanda
teaches Web animation to middle school girls Web animation. She also
serves as a judge for the New Hampshire Internet Awards.
Outside of the office, Amanda keeps busy by writing for publications
such as VegNews (a national vegetarian magazine) and by serving as Vice
Chair of the City of Cambridge's Pedestrian Committee, a group dedicated
to promoting walking as a healthy alternative to driving. She enjoys
cooking and exploring, whether it's locally or internationally. She is
in research mode for her first book on entrepreneurship. She lives in
Cambridge, MA with her husband.

as a C++ software developer for a proprietary software product that was
acquired by Seagate in 1996. Heiko left Calypso to work as a consultant
at John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance in Boston where he developed an
annuities projection software system. He continued on to work as a
project consultant at Fidelity Investments, also in Boston, for several
years on their Y2K readiness efforts. He co-founded Spinfish in 1997
with partner, Amanda Trombley.
Heiko has taught classes in C/C++, Java, and HTML in the metro Boston
area. German-born, he speaks both German and English fluently and is
studying Spanish. A fan of hiking and the outdoors he loves to travel
and explore new places, most recently Canada and Iceland. He lives in
